Happy Father's Day

This Father’s Day, we at Mothers’ Milk Bank of Tennessee are pausing to honor the fathers who walk beside us in the journey of nurturing life and love.

Behind every ounce of donated milk and every NICU baby receiving vital nourishment, there are fathers supporting, grieving, advocating, and loving in quiet, powerful ways. Some are holding their partners’ hands as they donate milk in memory of a child. Others are washing pump parts at midnight, championing donor milk as part of their baby’s care plan or sharing their family's story to help raise awareness.

We see you. We honor you.

Fathers play an essential role in our mission. Whether you are a dad who supported your partner through breastfeeding or milk donation, a NICU father who trusted in the power of donor milk, or a grieving father honoring a baby gone too soon—your strength and compassion are part of every life we touch.

This Father’s Day, we celebrate you—the steady hands, the quiet heroes, the fierce advocates for your little ones.

Thank you for standing with us in the work of nourishing Tennessee’s most fragile babies. Your love makes a lasting difference.

"Every night while I do my evening pump, my husband, Anceito, will weigh and bag my milk. Tonight, he also happened to need to make a brick to make room in the deep freezer. While he does this, he also watches the baby monitor in case our baby girl wakes up and needs one of us to go settle her, so that I can do my pumping uninterrupted. He washes the all the parts after and sterilizes them every night. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing and involved partner," said Milk Donor, Shannon.
